"This is our second stay at The Hemmel and it was just as special as the first. The moment you walk in the door you immediately relax, which is also helped by a treatment with Catherine at The Cabin. We would also recommend using the star gazing kit that can be used upon request. Our first night was the perfect night for it and it was great fun to look up at the stars and watch the moon come over the hill. We are already discussing our next stay and can’t wait to return! It is a bit of UK paradise. 3 miles from the nearest road (which is no more than a lane). All you can hear are birds singing. The views across the valley are stunning. You can’t help but just sit and gaze and realise how lucky you are to be here. If you’ve never been to this part of the World you don’t realise what you are missing. Book up now."

"A lot of places with spectacular countryside and surrounding views rest on their laurels, and often the quality of the accommodation is forgotten and feels a little tired. The Oak at Kidlandlee is not one of those places! It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and there was a lovely welcome pack. Add to this the most incredible views and it’s the perfect place to get away from it all. We visited the surrounding pubs and restaurants, but after eating just wanted to get back to the cottage, relax, and look at the wonderful views. Oh, and the outdoor bath is a must!"
